Cloakroom

Lockers of various sizes are available for your use during your visit. Suitcases can also be stored.

Strollers

You are welcome to bring strollers or trolleys with you during your visit. You can easily take the elevator down to the crypt rooms; there are only two steps in two of the rooms.

Accessibility

We have limited accessibility. People who are dependent on wheelchairs or walking aids can take the elevator down to the crypt rooms. There are two steps at the Franz Joseph Crypt and the Crypt Chapel. If you are unable to negotiate these steps on your own, you can only view the rooms from the outside.

We have a disabled toilet with a Euro lock; alternatively, a key can be borrowed from the ticket office. Door width 85 cm. Interior dimensions 200 x 162 cm.

Elevator dimensions: Door width 90 cm, interior dimensions 138 x 108 cm.

People who rely on assistance dogs are asked to carry appropriate proof, as animals are not normally allowed.

Blind people or people with impaired vision can borrow cotton gloves at the ticket office so that they can feel the details of the coffins. Touching the coffins with your own gloves and/or without our explicit permission is not permitted.

Restrooms

Restrooms are available for your use during your visit.

Animals

Animals, such as dogs, are not permitted in the crypt, either on a leash or in carriers or backpacks. The only exception is for certified service dogs.

Photos

Photos may be taken without flash for personal use. The use of tripods or selfie sticks is prohibited.

Furthermore, we ask you to respect the image rights of other visitors.

Representatives of the press and media have free access to the Capuchin Crypt in the course of their professional duties. This is subject to registration at least three working days in advance.

All image and motif rights remain with the Imperial Crypt.
